I would definitely make sure that you get a phone that does its best work as a phone!  I bought the Verizon XV6800, and I like all the other features but it drops too many calls.  I've heard the Iphone is good, and my father in law has a blackberry that works like a charm, so I guess I would recommend either of those based on the experience of folks that I know.

I wanted an I phone since it hit the market.  I just didn't like the price.  I liked it because it looked easy to use and the visuals looked great.  I just got a Blackberry curve instead.  Oh there is alot to learn. I wanted this mainly to get an instant message when a client emails me or I get a request for info.  The I phone doesn't have the "push and pull".  The Blackberry does.  What I'm trying to learn is how to sync my database.  I use online agent.  Haven't gotten that done yet, but it has only been a week.  I really think the curve is more a business tool and I'm happy I did make that decision.

In my area ATT is not effective so the iphone is out.  I had a Treo and loved it but have the Blackberry Curve now and recommend it highly - it works beautifully, syncs with Outlook seamlessly, internet browser is great for the MLS and the keypad is wonderful.  The iPhone I think still has some bugs.  I got the Curve and the iTouch so I have the best of both and no contract with ATT.

I have had the iPhone for over a year and love it. I will tell you that if you are looking to access the MLS and use it for a supra key then the iPhone is not for you. You would want to look into the TREO since it works best with the supra box.

Eva - If you need the majority of the features all on one phone the TREO seems like the way to go for you.

The iPhone doesn't have video and won't do lockboxes for starters.  However, the iPhone does things that the TREO won't do or does poorly.  The internet feature on the TREO is weak even when using the cellular broadband connection because of the screen format.

Eva - I currently have the treo and it works very well with lockboxes, mls, and e-mail. I did hear that supra is making a device to use with a blackberry to open up the lockbox.

BLACKBERRY A.K.A.  THE REALTORS "CRACKBERRY" IS THE BEST PHONE EVER!  I do not believe it can be used as a modem though, but with all of the technology out there, why would you want to use your cell as a modem, buy an air card?  I haven't explored opening the supra boxes because we just switched to the sentrilock system...

The Blackberry BOLD looks like a very powerful device.  I have not be able to determine if it has an IR port but based on the features it sounds like it has similar features to the TREO Pro which hasn't been launched in the U.S. yet.  I love having options!

Well I got a Blackberry Curve 8330 from Sprint. Here is a quick  review

Supra ibox key - no but in future IR converter? late 2008

Forms - Transaction desk - have not tried yet - I think it is not possible

MLS data - Assoc. of Miami-Dade Co - yes there is a mobile version

Internet connection G.P.S. Camera / video? yes to all

Multi tasking - yes, while  on mobile mls can recive calls

Can it be used as modem? - yes, I conected to my laptop, could not really figure how much slower it was.

I use pc notebook - Outlook, Words - did  test out a Power point presentation it worked fine but text to small for a mobile prentation. pdf ok

Do NOT get a Palm Centro.  Works great with supra, but drops calls, won't dial, email breaks...I've replaced mine 4 times...I'm getting a BlackBerry Bold tomorrow!
